THINGS TO DO AT HOME

Most children start out being naturally interested in investigating the world around them. Unfortunately, we often find that this natural curiosity is fading by high school. What we want is to encourage students and their families to be curious again. Explore, experiment and question everything! Try some simple and safe experiments at home (Youtube is good for this). The ABC Surfing Scientist website is also a great place to start. Try and invent something that may be of use to you such as a locker organiser or a way to keep your earphones untangled.

You will also find a STEM conundrum in each school newsletter. If you haven't seen the first one, we have included a snapshot of it below.

Please feel free to contact the school if you would like to know more ways of helping your child to become STEM smart!

"I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious."
